Sindh Minister for Health Dr. Sagheer Ahmed inaugurated 7th Health Asia 2011 Int’l Exhibition & Conference held recently at Expo Centre, Karachi. Around 70 foreign delegates from 20 countries including China, Taiwan, India, UAE and other countries participated whereas more than 35,000 trade/corporate visitors attended the Event during the three days.

Dignitaries other than the Chief Guest visited the Event include Sindh Minister for Industries & Commerce, Abdur Rauf Siddiqui; Minister for Environment & Alternate Energy, Sheikh Muhammad Afzal; Consul General of Srilanka, D.W. Jinadasa; Consul General of Switzerland, Didier Boschung; Mohammad Omer Musa, Ambassador of Sudan; Country Manager JETRO, Kaoru Shiraishi; Former City Nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal; Former Naib City Nazima Nasreen Jalil; Kalim A. Siddiqui, President Byco Petroleum.

Sindh Health Department had also established its pavilion in the Exhibition for the purpose of creating awareness among the visitors regarding different diseases; their causes; symptoms; diagnosis; treatment as well as their prevention. “Prevention is better than cure” was the prime focus of Sindh Health Department.
