The Schazoo was established in 1951 in Lahore, Pakistan to serve the humanity by providing highest quality medicines. To achieve this objective, all conceivable efforts have been made to ensure the concept of quality that is incorporated in its manufacturing facilities as well as in all the other activities performed at Schazoo Laboratories.
The Schazoo Laboratories earned good reputation and won the confidence of the Medical Profession and general public at large. The height of this era came in 1968 when according to IMS (Information Medical Statistics), Schazoo was the Sixth largest Company in Pakistan. Schazoo Laboratories achieved the International Asia Award for Quality in 1968. It also achieved the ISO 9001-2000 Certification in 1999. Schazoo has also accomplished ISO 14001 Certification in the year 2002.
Schazoo also enjoyed licensing agreement with International Companies of repute like Merck, Upjohn, Nordmark, Janssen Pharmaceutica, Lepetit, Dagra M.V, Chemische Werke Albert, and Henrich Mack.
The current manufacturing plant of the The Schazoo Pharmaceutical Laboratories (Pvt) Ltd. is a new state of the art manufacturing unit, equipped with latest and modern Hi-Tech machinery. This purpose built plant is especially designed to comply with the standards of WHO, FDA, Canada, Europeon Union , Singapore, UAE and other regulatory authorities of the world. The new plant of Schazoo was inaugurated in Year 2009. At present the company is manufacturing products under strict quality control and according to cGMP. The existing processes are designed to produce injectables, capsules, various kinds of Tablets, Syrups, Dry powders, Suspensions, Eye Drops and Nasal sprays. Today, Schazoo is the fastest growing national company for the last three years. The company has four product groups specialized in different product lines having four independent Marketing teams promoting for various therapeutic categories like Ophthalmology, NeuroPsychiatry, ENT, Gynaecology, orthopedics, and Gastroenterology.
Schazoo quality and vision has led to immensely quick growth in Exports in recent times. Currently we are exporting and marketing in countries like Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, Mauritius, Philippines. Where the quality and affordable prices of our products are greatly being appreciated by the customers. While our products are in the process of registration in Kyrgyzstan, Cambodia, Myanmar, Vietnam, Hong Kong, and Yemen.
Among the Schazoo’s quality products, DeCalc Plus is an established and time tested calcium supplement with the combination of vitamin D. DeCalc Plus has been prescribed by all specialty doctors since 1991. DeCalc Plus is available in a delicious mixed fruit flavor. To fulfill the demand of medical professionals, DeCalc Plus has been launched in the new assorted mixed fruit flavor. To get the feedback from medical professionals regarding new assorted mixed fruit flavor a taste campaign was conducted two months ago. This taste campaign was made more fascinating as it was tagged with an exciting lucky draw.
We got highly appreciable comments from all over Pakistan, doctors appreciated the new assorted mixed fruit flavor. Medical professionals also took immense interest in the lucky draw participation. Schazoo planned to furnish different prizes in the DeCalc Plus lucky draw e.g. 21 inches slim TV as a first prize, microwave oven as a second prize, and a DVD player as a third prize. Other than these prizes, fifty exhilarating prizes were also assigned for the lucky draw participants.
Schazoo organized an event in the Park Plaza Hotel Lahore on 12th April, 2011 to have a lucky draw.
The leading gynecologists graced the event by their active involvement in this occasion. Professor Dr. Afshaan (Consultant Obstetrician & Gynecologist, Fatima Memorial Hospital Lahore), Associate Professor Dr. Asma Yasin (Consultant Obstetrician & Gynecologist, Ganga Ram Hospital Lahore), and Assistant Professor Dr. Samina Shamim (Consultant Obstetrician & Gynecologist, SIMS/Services Hospital Lahore) also glorified this event by their valuable participation.
In this lucky draw Dr. M. Rafique from Khyber Agency Landi kotal was the first prize (21 inches Slim TV) winner. Dr. Noor ul Wahab from Peshawar was the second lucky winner, got the prize of Microwave oven. Third lucky winner was Dr. Uzma Munir from Narowal, got DVD Player as a third prize.
