Sysmex XN-3000TM – fully automatic hematology analyzer installed at Dow University

Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) installed Sysmex XN-3000 Automatic Haematology Analyzer at its Dr. Ishrat ul Ebad Khan Institute of Blood Diseases (DIEKIBD), Ojha Campus. The Inauguration Ceremony of the DIMC which was attended by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Masoood Hameed Khan, Pro-Vc Prof. Dr. Masroor, Prof. Dr. Rana Qamar, Director QEC, Prof. Dr. Shaheen Sharafat, Chairperson of Pathology and Director DDRRL, and Prof Tahir Shamsi (NIBD). Addressing the Ceremony Prof. Dr. Masood Hameed Khan and Prof. Dr. Masroor praised the role of DDRRL in providing high quality diagnostic sevices to the people of this province. Prof. Dr. Tahir Shamsi gave an outline of the new research parameters by the analyzer and thier diagnostic and clinical impact on standards of patient care. Prof. Dr. Shaheen Sharafat in her welcome address briefed the audience about Dr. Ishrat ul Ebad Khan Institute of Blood Diseases. Dr. Saima Minhas and Dr. Nadeem Nusrat discussed the history of the institute as well as Diagnostic facilities available. Miss Huang yingli, assitant manager regional marketing sysmex Asia Pacific, briefed about the new research parameters and thier significance in diagnostic lab. Mr. Greg Murrel, Director sale Sysmex Asia Pacific, thanked Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Masoood Hameed Khan and Prof. Dr. Shaheen Sharafat for organizing such a great event.
