PharmEvo (Pvt.) Ltd., one of the leading pharmaceutical companies has been in tradition of launching thought provoking Calendars for last 10 years. Conforming to this tradition, PharmEvo (Pvt.) organized a Ceremony to launch Calendar 2010 – “Danish-e-Mashriq” today i.e. December 15th, 2009 at Arag Auditorium, Dow Medical College, Karachi.
Dignitaries from various walks of life like Anwar Maqsood, Play writer/Actor & Khawaja Razi Haider(renowned poet)attended the program . Prof. Dr. Masood Hameed Khan, V.C., DUHS; was chief guest at the occasion. Besides a large number of faculty members, students and representatives of the Pharmevo attended the ceremony.
Prof. Masood Hameed Khan, in his speech appreciated the services of PharmEvo not only in the field of medicine but also in promoting urdu literature through its marketing philosophy.
He further said that Pharmevo is at the forefront of supporting educational activities. Their inspiring books and calendars in the context of Quranic verses and communication of unspeakable aspects of human experience through the passionate art of poetry have not only gained awesome recognition but also elicit life altering effects.
Mr. Khawja Razi Haider, said that art and literature deeply affect the human personality. It changes thinking and living standard of human beings. Every new calendar from the platform of Pharmevo not only provides knowledge but also behaves as a good teacher.
Mr. Anwar Maqsood highly praised PharmEvo’s efforts that a medicine manufacturing company is doing an incredible job through it’s corporate books & calendars.
Dr. Baqar Raza, Consultant Physiatrist, Abbasi Shaheed Hospital not only formally hosted the program but also shared his views at the occasion. He said that PharmEvo is the fastest growing company in Pakistan and in a very short span of time it clinched a reasonable market share.
Mr. Jamshaid Ahmed, Director Marketing PharmEvo said that PharmEvo has a tradition of developing, printing and promoting variety of books on literature e.g Golden Words Vol. 1&2 (motivational quotations), Pen pricks (humorous quotations), Bayaz Vol.1&2 (gems of Urdu poetry) etc.
He also said that PharmEvo has always played an active role in drawing people’s interest in books thereby helping inculcation of reading habit. As per IMS latest overall ranking PharmEvo stands at 36 position whereas among national companies it is 25th .
The Ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Haroon Qasim, Managing Director, PharmEvo. Shields were distributed to all guests at the end of program.
