The Ministry of National Health Services (NHS) to celebrate National Independence Day held a ‘Sehatmand Pakistan Walk’ in the premises of the Prime Minister’s National Health Complex. It was attended by locals, including children in front of the National Institute of Health.
Mrs. Saira Afzal Tarar, Minister of State for National Health Services sharing her views on the occasion reiterated the commitment of the Government of Pakistan to build a healthy and prosperous Pakistan. She said that “We realize the difficulties that are hindering our way to progress but our resolve is firm and non-state actors will be defeated at the end.”
Discussing the efforts that are being made to improve the health sector, she said that they will not leave any stone unturned to improve the situation.She further that said people should forge unity in their ranks and foil the nefarious designs of elements out to create dissensions and discord amongst them. Pointing towards protest over roads, she said that people have given the mandate to their elected representatives to perform and it’s our duty to respect that and resolve all our issues in the Parliament. In the end, she invited all political forces and stakeholders to use their energies in building a healthy and prosperous Pakistan.
