Provincial TB Control Program organized Inter District Meeting recently at Dow University of Health Sciences, Ojha Campus, Karachi.. The meeting was held to identify the progress, strength, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges faced by the program and to discuss the future plans of the program.
Dr. Ismat Ara Khursheed, Program Manager, Provincial TB Control Program Sindh was the Chief Guest. In her concluding remarks she appreciated the efforts of TB Control Program and its provincial partners in achieving 100 percent DOTs coverage. She stressed the need for commitment by all the provincial partners. She urged to support the efforts directed towards the control of TB.
She further said that these kinds of meetings provide a platform to identify gaps and discuss the future plans of the program.
